Lise Kjaer (born 1967 in Roskilde, Denmark); Danish artist, studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she graduated in 1992. After graduation, she worked as an assistant at the Lab of Visual Structures at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (Prof. Jacek Dyrzyński). In 1998, she went to the United States on the Fulbright scholarship. She graduated from the History of Art at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. Currently, he teaches art history (specializing in twentieth-century and contemporary art) at the City College of New York. She exhibited at many exhibitions, including at the Galeria Rzeźby, Warsaw, Galeria Dziekanka, Warsaw, Galeria Krytyków Pokaz, Warsaw, Galerie Balle, Copenhagen, Galeria Działań, Warsaw, Galeria Arsenał, Białystok, Galeria 72, Chełm, Kuvataide Akatemian Galleria, Helsinki, and participated in "SKUD" , Arhus, Denmark, "Other spaces", ASP Gallery, Warsaw, "Det Intense Punkt", Galerie 2112, Rodovre, Denmark, "Streets", Helsingfors Art Hall, Helsinki, Finland. She lives and works in New York.
